Default good replacement ecm/ecu for my 93z?

the water or autosource has left me with a unrebuildable ecu and can not find another. so whats a good aftermarket replacement for it. ive heard fast is a good one but i have found it expensive, a little less than 1900 bucks for the setup from fast. is that the average for the setup? any better ones that u know of? any better prices?

Try a junk yard, ECUs don't usually go bad, althogh many people replace them on general principle. The ECU on the 93's is particular to that year, and because of the age, a new one is hard to find. Although, you may be able to find a reconditioned one.

^^^ found a reconditioned one today but dont know if it is going to work for sure. been looking for over a month now and got this one by accident and is the only one. they are not availble at any junk yards, ive had a country wide lookout for one at a couple yards for the last month. only ones u can get are with a motor only. ive looked at the fast one but at 2200 for a complete set up (found that more suff was needed) its not in my buget right now. one from the car has water damage and was either bad or was ruined by autosourse. i suspect the latter. anyways the couple places i talked to would not even look at it after autozone has worked on it. guess i picked the wrong place to work on it.
