With my Avalanche I used the Silverstar bulbs in my fogs. They were brighter but not obnoxiously so. I plan on getting them as well for my Camaro when one of the fogs die on me.

Does Sylvania make a silverstar for the 885 size? I couldn't find any searching around, is it a different part number?
