Just got an email back from the injector guys, 24 hr turn around, and 15.00 per injector. Is that a good deal?

Im gonna take them out tomorrow...if its not raining.
Craby, do they just pull out of the intake?

Is there a way to check for my leakers?

craby 02-06-2012 12:48 AM

yep, once the bolts are out they will pull out. i use a tool for taking out plastic push in retainers to help get the injectors out, it has a opening at the end and is bent just about right to get in there and give the injector a little push from under it. once you get the rack out leave it hooked up and cycle the key so the fuel punp comes on. i put some small squares of cardboard under each injector so i could see if any were leaking or stuck open. the flow can not be tested like this, just lets you know if any are stuck or leaking. when i sent mine in to be tested and cleaned a couple were not flowing enough, one was shot. it caused the other cylinders to run rich.

Hey guys, I pulled my injectors out today. NONE leaked. So I did something dangerous, I had some one spin the engine over to check if the all where spraying.......did 4 at a time. And they are????
So, I guess my next question is what else will make the driver side flood....the only code is the map sensor low vaccum. Freaking eletronics!!!

craby 02-06-2012 05:47 PM

you can not determine the flow rate that way. unless they are tested you will never know if they are all flowing the same.

Ok. So before I pull them out again, is there anything else that will cause 1 side to flood? Will O2 sensor cause this?
