Default Frustration

Im looking to get more power out of my 96 Z28, and i want to keep it in a budget. I have headers, cai, maf, exhaust, and gutted cats. What can i do to get more power for under 1000? heads are too much and i think my cam choice will probably depend on what heads i get. please help me, I just wanna go fast[&o]

gears won't gain you an horsepower but they will sure make it feel like it. are you manual or auto? if auto, again a higher stall torque converter won't add horsepower, but it will make your car quicker off the line and is something you NEED before doing a cam swap
