Default A few interior questions

My camaro has a few issues inside of it, or at least i think so lol

Ok, if i fill the gas tank completely, the guage reads well above the F mark, and once i've put about 100 miles or so on the car, the gauge drops to the F, and i can get another 150 miles or so before it reads empty. Do all F-body fuel gauges work like that?

My next question is about the turn signal, wiper, and cruise control stalk. If i want to turn on my high beams, i have to pull hard on the stalk to get it to click; to turn them back to dim is the same hassle. All the elctronics work though, but i would like to get a new stalk. Do i run the risk of setting off airbags? is it worth replacing myself? If so, how do i remove that unit without upseting the electronics around it?

my multi function switch did the same thing. Its been a long time since i jerry rigged it, but there is a switch mounted to the column that the multi funtcion switch goes into that on gm i guess is common to break loose. I just put a zip tie around it to hold it in place and it fixed my problem.

simply disconnecting the battery is usually a good bet too. I may be misunderstanding your issue with the stalk, but it sounds to me like that's the way it's supposed to be, at least for most GM vehicles that age. Personally, I prefer the way the stalk works, rather than having some controls here, some controls there cluttering up the dash and steering wheel.
