k, i have ran to 60 in 4.9 in my camaro, but its only luck. how the heck can i launch this thing without so much wheel spin? i need the best 0-60 times. racing between the light obviously lol. also, how can i get my exhaust to be as loud as it can possibly be! without being illegal of course. i appreciate it guys

true duals w/ an x pipe are fairly loud at idle and super loud at WOT

Don't think gutting your cat will get the car louder per say. Try to remove your muffler....

There is a difference between loud and sounding good ya know.

Loudest legal exhaust depends on where you live. If you don't have any type of inspection to do, then you can get some LT's, and bullets attached/dumped right off the collectors. That'd wake the dead!

If you're honestly looking for the fastest possible 0-60 time you can get, then I'd suggest the first two mods you do be some 4.56+ gears, and some really sticky tires.

 

my 96 lt1 t speed, i had the cats removed, just wellded pipe in place, and have a slp loudmouth1 cat back exhaust, it was loud as hell, but very very raspy and got pulled over for it, i now have switched to the slp loudmouth2 muffler and it cut the raspyness by 98 % and toned it down just a hair and i love it now.

 

i see that some of you guys have removed the cats, does this affect the performance in any way and how will it affect the emmisions, my v8 camaro is running an lpg conversion.
