Default Engine Skipping

Is there anything other than the wires and plug that will cause the camaro to skip?
I noticed it yesterday, I held it steady at about 1500 rpms and noticed it. Whats a good plug, I have MSD wire now.

yep thats the distributor. the msd is a good opti if thats in fact what it is. could be just a msd cap and rotor. i would look at the plugs and plug wires first and that sounds like what your doing. ngk 7164 is what i have had the best results from with my setup.

Just looking at the wires, they look real good. Not dryed out or cracked. Not header burns. But i havent looked at the plugs yet.

The wires may look good on the outside, but the core is what can mess up. How long have those wires been on? If you haven't changed them it would be a good idea.
