Question egr and air pump delete

ok, so iv gotten everything out. all the hoses, pump, egr value....exc. i have some plates to block off the holes on the back of the intake. but my question/problem is what do i do about the spots on the opti where 2 air tubes went. should i plug them up or just leave them as is? and the ones on the side of the intake are really small, i figure i can just get a bolt to fit there in its place or just plug the neck where the air tube was. has anyone done this befor or have some tips? and my pcm is allready off to be reprogramed for the delete. so thats gonna be taken care of. and i forgot to add the reason im doing all this is cause im putting long tubes on and i dont have the fittings for it.

Keep the vacuum lines connected to the opti, you'll someday regret it if you leave them off. It's there as a vent to move air through the opti to help keep moisture from building up and causing rust, and then the internal malfunction issues that follow. The earlier opti's were not vented and were more problem prone because of it.

Somebody messed with your hose connections then. The top hose off the opti goes to the air inlet duct, in front of the throttle body. The other opti hose taps into the vacuum line on the drivers side of the intake manifold, right above the pcv valve.

Well that might explane something. Iv allways wondered why the hoses looked like they wernt ran ight. I guess it was the ppl who had my engine built. Well they just installed it, someone else built it. But would you happen to have a picture of how they are ran so I could put it back right?

with the msd on the 93 the vacumm hooks into the driver side of the intake manifold and the air hooks to the air intake in the rubber elbow.

ok, iv done some research and i know where the one on the intake manifold goes and what hose goes to it and where it goes on the opti. but the other one thats supose to go on infront of the throttle body or on the elbow, i cant find a spot its supose to go. i have an after market elbow and a bbk throttle body. would that maybe be my problem there? if so, could i just fit it on the cai where the air tube went to it? i know its different size but i could rig it i guess. any help would be appreciated, and thanks for helping me.

Drill a hole and put in a barb fitting (flexible elbow) or threaded fitting (hard elbow). Wants to be closer to the throttle body, not further away. I put mine a couple inches out from the TB.

this is on my Vette, but still same idea. You can see the off-white fitting just adjacent to the alternator.
