bottom line is the headers i have dont support the EGR is there any program out there that will let me delete it from my ECU so the freakin check engine light doesnt come one when i take the EGR out. The EGR is finicky as is and keeps throwing codes its always the same code i have a OBD reader so i can delete the code but its annoying because it keeps throwing me in closed loop. ill take as much help as i can get

 

I'm assuming you have a 96 since you're actually able to read the OBDII codes. That being said you'll either need to take the car to a private tuner (the dealer probably won't delete and EGR code) and have it tuned out, or you can consider investing in LT1Edit (computer program) and it should allow you to remove the code.
