aaa ok yah if a valve/spring is sticking all the time or for a bit on the exhaust stroke then it could hit.

According to the info he supplied, he has no valve hitting any piston. His spring is compressed to the point it won't compress anymore and will result in bent pushrods. Providing the cam was installed correctly, which he said it was.

^ If 94z28chevy is in fact experiencing coil bind, which looks like he is based on the coil rating, the engine won't be able to be turned completely over by hand. That would mean he mistook the stop in motion as it being the valves interfering with the pistons.

I found my mistake. Took the timing chain cover off to double check my cam time and found the problem. I got a cloves timing chain set and on the sprocket that’s on the crank it has three notches for the key. One has a point one is square one was a semicircle. Well I had it on the square when it should have been on the semicircle. The square and the semicircle are so alike it took an hour of me staring at it to see it. Now it’s all good.
and it looks like i will have to buy different valve springs
