Default Does anybody have racing seats???

I have a 97 SS that is my weekend/track day car (road course, not drag). I have Corbeau fixed back seats with the sliding bottom mount bracket that they sell. The seats are awesome, and I like that the seats can slide back and forth, but the problem is that the seats sit about an inch and a half too high. They also are leaning forward. The seats need to go down, and the rear of the seats need to go down, which would recline the seat back.

Anyway, if anyone has racing seats in their 4th gen, please let me know what you went with and how you like it.

Thanks,
Steve

Rob, I'd love to see some pics and get more info. I'm going to be going to a machine shop to have the brackets cut up and re welded to allow them to sit lower.

Anyway, any info would be helpful.

as far as my brackets i took some 1" square tubing and cut them for the back of the seat and i used the little slider that is mounted right to the bottom od the seat so the seat sits as low as it possibly can. the seats will look better wen my car is done im putting black carpet in now. the seats r out if you want a pick of the bracket i described.

Thanks for the pictures. I like how low profile the sliders are.
