If I was at all interesting in removing it I could probably figure out an electrical spoof. I doubt the computer looks for much more than a change in resistance on a line, but I could be wrong.

You can get the code tuned out of your computer. If you're looking to free up space I would consider it, but as stated before, you're not going to free up any HP.

I'm sure that's all the computer is registering. It certainly doesn't know whether the air hoses are connected or not.
If you don't mind hopping on that right away and getting back to us on what works as a spoof, that would be greatly appreciated. Is tomorrow by lunch time good for you?

I think I already missed it

Honestly though, I'll take a look around later this evening to see if I can dig anything up.

Camaro 69 is right, I removed the Air Pump, CAT, and EGR got the PCM re-programmed and the fans come on about 20 sec after cranking it and will not go off.
Just got it running and have not had time to find out why the reprogram didn't fix that. Thanks Camaro 69 , I didn't know about the Air Pump turning them on, so that helps to trouble shoot the problem ! The reprogram was was suppose to address the Air Pump removal. The SES light does not come on, and i changed every sensor on the engine with new ones.

Um not to highjack this tread but I just took the 3.4L motor out and put it back in, at no point did I see anything remotely close to AIR pump, but I have no codes shown..... I'm confused as to where it could be, or do I have this on my motor?
