I'm considering running shorter S-Belt on my engineto free up some horespower by not having the belt run the smog pump.

I just got a brand new inspection sticker, so I'm not worried about emmissions, but I have two questions:
1. Does anyone know what size belt I need?

2. Is the computer going to switch to a less efficient, lower horsepower mode if the smog pump isn't running?

Its a 1992 TPI 5 speed 305.
