What year Corvette engine? If you're talking about the same vintage LT1, it's the same engine as you have.

Well the engine is from a 1996 Corvette but it can't be the same as what i already had in there because the transmission can't handle that engine...its just too powerful lol ....so im now woner how to stop this dreadful problem

I don't get what problem? The 96 Vette had an LT1 like yours, but was rated at 300 h.p. primarily because of the different intake filter setup. The Camaro was rated at 275 h.p. until 1996 when it went to having two cats which bumped it to 285. But some Camaros have dynoed the same as the Vette. Unless you have the LT4 which came in the Gran Sport? That was rated at 330 h.p. Your trans should be able to handle any of these, unless it's just plain toast in general.

thats the only thing i can think of being the problem that its a LT4 but do you think by using a different rear end would work?

i think by using all the same stuff you have in your car now that you will be just fine. its basically the same motor. LT4 or not, your stock tranny and rear can handle it

dmoney, you never said what the "problem" is with the trans? Is it acting up, or are you just worrying for nothing?

And you still didn't say what is wrong with the trans?
What does it do?
Why do you take it in to be serviced?
What gets serviced when you do take it in?
And what do the guys who are servicing the trans have to say about it?
There......I left a trail of bread crumbs.....
We're gonna have to try a multiple guess quiz next if this doesn't work!
