convertible top issues!!!

have a 96 camaro...top intermittently decides when it wants to go up/down...how do I troubleshoot the switch? it has four leads...

i also have a convert, grtting info on the top is a pain in the *** n expensive no matter what. mines currently sealed with silicone. convertabetopguys has the cheepest parts

on the switch there is a power, ground, up and down wire im thinking that the ground is bad im not sure what wire it is odds are black PM craby he has a manual hell be able to tell you
