Default Cheap LT1?

Hey guys, new here. Right now im driving a 98 Audi A4. Im looking for something (camaro as it sits right now) that i can use as a toy. Basicly something that i can start up, go out, and have some fun with...something pretty quick. My Audi is decent in a straight line and great around bends but now im looking for something that i can use to go out and 'hunt' with...if you know what i mean. Its time i buy something seriously fast. Note that i dont have the Biggest wallet in the world either. 2-3 of my close friends have LT1 and LS1 camaros and they love them.

How cheap can i find an LS1 or LT1 Camaro 5 or 6 speed for?

Care about - Condition of tranny, Rear, Engine (as long as there is no serious dammage like a cracked block or bent heads, ect.

Dont Care about - Interior, things like AC.

Sorry if this is in the wrong fourm. Thanks for the Help Guys.

you can get a decent LT1 car (they come with a six speed factory) for under four and a half. there will be some thing to fix but I bought mine for four and put twenty thousand on it before it broke at 168,000. the LS cars are a little bit more plus if you drive them real hard you have to replace the push rods.
