hello im back with a new problem. for some reason when i drive over a speed bump my car dies. the front end goes over fine but as soon as the back end of the car hits the speed bump or any bump really my car cuts out and i have to start it again. its mostly happens when the car hasnt been running for long but even if i let the car warm up to running temperature it still happens but if ive been driving for a while i can hit all the bumps i want and the car wont die. also it seemed like it was wanting to do it hauling *** on the ramp to get on the freeway this morning too. i think it is something fuel related can anyone help me out here????

Fuel pump?

 

maybe i put a new fuel pump on it last year probably on has a couple thousand miles on it

 

Yeah, that would be my first thought. Loose connection either on the wiring harness to the fuel pump or within the fuel pump assembly inside the tank.

 

thats what i thought too but the fuel pump isnt that old. i guess ill just change the fuel pump and filter again and see if it makes a difference

 

check wires on module control & coil,those wires are closed to the exaust manif they get hot and brake inside it happened to my lt1 350 5.7
