I did some reading and I'm gonna really look at the sensor coming out of the optispark. if that isn't sending the proper signal then the icm wont get the pulse from the pcm. still gonna look at some wires before I make a decision tomorrow.

 

alright guys thank you for all the info and all the resources and diagrams. it was the opti. I changed out the distributor with the opti and it fired right up.

 

for some reason i thought you said you changed the opti. lol, everything but. happy new year
