hello, i recently bought my 1994 camaro z28 and it had a 150 white faces on it...since it did not work properly i took it off today and the speedo tops at 115...i would like to chage it to the 150 one, has anyone of u guys done this? also the stering wheel is jiggles its firm enought to drive but i can move it to the left any ideas how to fix this? also does the msd distributor come with a omni? teh car cranks alot befor it starts so i think ill have to change the omni soon...and i like MSD!

 

i thought all z28s came with a 150 speedo...try checking the junk yard for one,you can look on ebay but its usally expensive on there

 

well i have read that some base z28s come with 115 speedos...and trans am creations sells z28 115 mph speedo. i wana change it to the 150 though i dont know if i have to reprogram the cars computer...

 

You shouldn't have to reprogram anything. My v6 came with a 120 mph speedo, but now has a 150 mph speedo. Speedo works just fine, and it's accurate.

hi the streeing wheel needs to come off and below the tilt mechanizm youll find 3 trox head bolts take them out and lock tieght them

Hey I recently got a 93 Z28 with 150 white gauges in it. It doesn't work right but i haven't had time to take anything apart yet. Im wondering if i have the same problem that you have. Exactly how is your speedo off?

 

well the speedo marked 120 when i was going 75. the speed marked just never matched the actual speed of the car. if i were u i would take off the white face and make sure it matches the speedo...
