Default camaro wont run long

Got a 95 z28. I can start the car fine , drive about 3 miles and the engine will shut off completely. the engine wont start untill the engine cools down for quite a while . thought it was a coil issue so replaced that. the engine turns over but wont start. is this onen of those optispark issues?

Does it have a spark while cranking?
Is the fuel presure good while cranking?
When it stops, does it sputter or just drops dead?

still have to check the fuel pressure and for spark. it doesnt sputter it just drops dead with no warning like you turned the key off

Sounds like an ignition problem, but before getting a new Opti, I would change the ignition module. Lot cheaper and easier, and they can be affected by heat if not bolted tight against the engine and using dielectric grease to conduct heat better. You may also want to take a look at all the wiring and connectors between the Opti, coil, and ignition module, as they have a habit of corroding.
