A cam just by itself is not goig to do much and may even make things worse. Cam has to be matched to heads, compression, displacement, intake, and exhaust. The old saying that a chain is as strong as its weakest link also applies to engines.

I'll look into it, but it's not going to happen until next week at the soonest...but now that you mention it a write-up of the differences between the LT1 and LT4 components, costs etc. would be something good to have. Give me a couple of weeks for school to calm down a bit and I should have one up for us.

only the cam? Not going to make a great difference in itself without the proper boltons to support it.
