Does the a/c realy steal power or only when it's on? I need to know so if it does I need to find an a/c delete pully.

 

Unless you have some engine setup out of the 60s, you won't notice any power loss.

EFi is set up iwth loads of tricks that keep the AC from sapping any noticeable amount of power.

AC WOT relay, the compressor clutch coil, etc, etc, etc...

Save your money, basically, unless you need to shed weight from the car...then ditch everything you can.
