so my 97 z28 has had a weird problem lately. on occasion, the moment i turn the ignition, the car dies, meaning no power through the car whatsoever. checked the fuses, they are good. its a new battery so thats good. could it be the ignition? or what?? on these occasions i cant start the car or even put the car in accessory mode. if i wait a while however itll work. whats the deal??it has happened 3 times in past 4 days!

 

If the security lite comes on, you may wan to try a new key, or spray the inside of theignition switch with contact cleaner.
