Where is the ABS module located on a non standard-ASR 4th gen? I want to delete mine as well

IDK if the locations are the same for the v6 and v8 or years. But my '94 z ABS is on the driver side front. It's a big bulky ugly looking silver box with numerous wires .

All you have to do is follow the break lines and they will lead you right to it

did you ever end up doing the switch to just a throttle cable? And if so how did it work out? I was looking into doing it myself but not a lot of information out there..

I don't think he's gonna answer. He was last on this forum in 2012...

can anyone else chime in on this? Really considering just getting another unit altogether even though i feel like it would be a waste if i can modify.. my asr unit initially was intermittent, but now wont go past 2000rpm, its definitely the asr motor but its my summer car and i dont need the cruise control or the abs.

I'm having the same problem, and it feels like parts places have no idea what I'm talking about. I did "fix" the low-rpm issue today; it seemed like the cable had come off the track. Now a bigger issue is that if it came off track due to the motor being bad, but I did have success with just unplugging it after and just dealing with the annoying ASR light.
