same here. all i have is 1500 and i guess i will still have a "slow camaro" it will just sound nice. i am planing on gutting my cat i want to make my own off road y pipe. if i put a cut out in it and no cat can i open it with out doing any damage? i herd you will wreck something with no back pressure.

 

*sigh* silly backpressure people. You're not going to break anything by having an open exhaust. You can run open headers and not hurt anything except your ears.

 

ok tight i realy dident know.that is sweet i am going to do the bbk hedders and y pipe. with the flowmaster cat back and i am going to take the cat out and a cut out. that is it for that and i am going to get the le elbow i think it is without the scilencer. and a k&n cai with the air foil. and that is about it. i dont have alot of money so trying to get the most for my money.

 

BBK is over priced... a simple CAI kit was 230 bucks...

 

i looked insummitand the hedders and the y pipe where like $350. the flowmaster thunder is $360 and then eather k&n or morso for a cai. (any goods or bads on the brands moroso or K&N)?? The trick flow elbow $90. and idk what else to do i think that is a good start. if every thing is stalk and that is all i do to it do you think i would push over 300 HP??
