First Of All It Probably Needs The Fluid And Filter Changed ... Put It In Reverse Get It Up To About 15 Miles Per Hour Stop. Put It In Drive Get Up To About 15 Miles Stop. Do It In Reverse Again. Do This Several Times. Then Try It. Don't Over Rev But, Try And Keep It At The Point It Should Shift At. It Should Go Ahead And Eventually Shift. It Will Get Better With Time. I've Had This Happen Several Times On Older Trannys That Have Sat Up For A While. Also Make Sure The Lockup Wires Going To The Tranny Hasn't Got Unplugged Somehow. That Will Cause Delayed Shifting. Still Try What I Suggested . You Can Also Sniff The Dipstick. If The Tranny Is Toast It Will Smell Like Burnt Clutches If Not It Will Just Smell Like Fluid. Sick

SickSickSick, I am going to have to ask that you make your sig smaller, we really don't have a size limit here yet, but try and be reasonable.
Thanks

Yeah I would def. agree with what sick said , if that doesn't help try looking at the servo on the side of the tranny sometimes they get sludged up when they have been sitting for a while , again the fluid and filter may need to be changed but definetly don't rule out the servo.tsinn13
