Default auto to manual?

what would it take to make an auto 95 z28 manual? price a parts?

its gonna cost you near $2k to do it.its cheaper and easier to sell your car and find one thats already manual

i'm seriously amazed at how frequently this question is asked. like ali said, on a 95, definitely not worth the money to do it.

Why would you want to go to a manual any way. The T56 kills ten bolts you might as well say 2400 for a 12 bolt or nine inch as well.

People want to go to a T56 because they're "cool" and they think they'll be faster.

If you're trying to do it for 1/4 mile performance you're not going to get any performance out of a tranny swap. If you're wanting to do it for the "cool" factor, take Alih's advice and buy yourself a manual to start with, you'll have a lot less issues and it will be easier.
