Default another speaker question

My 95 z/28 has the Bose system, but the rear speaker in the hatch was blown so I removed it. Now since I unplugged it my rear speakers don't work. This is probably because they are connected on the same wiring harness. How do I make it so my rear speakers work without having the speaker in the hatch plugged in?
Thanks

Youll have to rewire so that the circuit only goes to that one speaker. Right now i assume its wanting to power both and since the circuit has been interupted you will have to make it think it hasnt been removed.. Im guessing its like christmas lights, one goes out they all go out.

how exactly did you manage to blow a Bose out of curiosity? They are pretty bad *** components.

Are they ran in series? That can be the only reason I see them all going out.

Yeah they are all ran togetherso if one isn't working then they all aren't working. I ended up pulling out the Bose sub from the hatch and replaced it with one of my own. Turns out the one from the hatch was the only one blown. I had to splice into the wiring harness from my rear and door speakers in order for them to work independantly. I also replaced the head unit. You are right those Bose speakers do kick ***. Glad I never replaced them.

The antenna switch(should be a blue wire) on your head turns the amp on, the amp is in the box with the sub in the trunk. If the amp is off, or if you removed it, the rest of the speakers dont turn on.

same goes for me. none of my speakers worked unless i hooked up the power antena (blue). you could also connect the rear speakers directly to the amp, that is if you don't care about the speakers and want them to hit as hard as your sub. lol
