anyone ever use amsoil in their camaro? and does anyone really know if it will increase your horsepower?

 

ive used royal purple for years in my camaro,but i dont think an oil is going to increase your hp that much,id be more interested in the better lubrication than hp

 

I use nothing but. I don't have much else to say since I've only put about 9000 miles on the car since I bought it, so I dunno if it's made that much of a difference.

 

oil won't make your car go too much faster if at all...its like ali said...oil is for lubrication...just keeps things safer

 

I haven't used that before...I wanna hear some reviews...lol

 

I used Mobil 1 and haven't had any problems ever. I've heard good things about Royal Purple too. Amsoil I've heard lots of awesome things.

Like the guys said, it won't increase horsepower, but it'll make any available horsepower you have safer. I'd say go for it, I've only heard good things about Amsoil

 

royal purple claims better gas mileage and cleaner emissions,but ive never really checked that out if it was true or not

 

royal purple is also said to help pick up lik a tenth at the track they had it in gmhtp once i believe and i actually tried it and cant be sure if it worked to many factors but i gained a tenth lol
