Default Alarming gas and exhaust smell

i have a 95 camaro z28, supercharged,6 speed, and all these little goodies. when i drive the car, i has a strong smell of exhaust and gas. i think there is a leak but i don't know were. does anyone know what it might be? p.s. it also has to fuel pumps. i bought the car as is, i didn't put any mods on it.

Any smell of fuel should be attended to immediatly, before you drive the car AT ALL; as it could be a potentially dangerous, anddeadly, fire hazard. Hopefully it is just an exhaust leak of some kind ( maybe in the junction ofone of the intermediate pipes underneath the car), but if it is a fuel leak then you should definatly get that fixed before you go driving around, for your own safety.

lol turns out that the gas cap was loose and the exhaust smell has disapered. thanks for the for your help.

ya, i will get then very soon maybe tomorrow. oh ya, it also has a factory spoiler that it very high. i have never seen a camaro with a factory spoiler like that.

Out of curiosity what would two fuel pumps do? any horsepower gains?

i didnt install them but the owner said that he put them in so he could get more fuel into the engine. funny thing is the fuel pressure and oil guage dont work so im gunna get them fixed.

the car is in the shop right know. something happend to the starter but i got a pic and a vid (sorry for the poor quality. i will get a better camera soon
