Default AIR pump

Hey Guys,

I'm new here, Looks like a great forum! Anyway, just purchased a 95 Z28. I know alot of folks have had issues with the OEM AIR pump. I've read posts elsewhere stating GM replaced them all but my dealer knows nothing about it!? Does anyone know how to correct the apparent moisture problem? I would just bypass the POS altogether but not until it will pass emmissions!

Thanks,

Josh

There was a bulletin 43-65-09 rewiring of the AIR pump relay. The pump only works during warm up and shuts off once the cat lights up.

Thanks!

If you let the car warm up good and te cat is good, it will pass the sniffer inspection.

It also makes it a lot nicer under the hood. make sure to plug the manifold if you do take it off.
