96 ss lt4 6 speed transmission issues
I have a 96 camaro ss lt4 6speed I blew the clutch out of it when the clutch went out I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd car shut off and wouldn't restart. With the clutch pedal to the floor the engine wouldnt crank could tell something was binding up in transmission. Got the car home and with clutch switch pushed in car would start but with the car running if clutch pedal was pushed in it was grinding in the trans. Found out it was the clutch fork grinding on the pressure plate so Removed trans and clutch assembly. replaced clutch, throw out bearing, flywheel resurfaced, pilot bearing, and pressure plate reassembled and still the clutch fork is grinding on the pressure plate everything is tourqued to spec have a new tbolt in the clutch fork I'm at a total loss as to what the issue is any help is apriciated thanks in advance

Possibly bent the clutch fork since that's the only thing that you haven't changed.
Off topic some, but any chance you could post a pic of your engine? Never heard of the '96 SS getting the LT4, only a few in '97, but would be interesting if I am wrong.

Make sure the end of the fork is fitting in the channel of the throwout bearing, and that it's not completely behind the bearing. Also make sure the T pivot is attached between the fork and the spring clip.
