I posted awhile back about getting some pacesetter LT and y pipe for a kill price but there for a 96-97,so got thinking how to fit the emissions crap on there.Iam in california so the cops do check under the hood for that stuff.The cat will be gone,I'll just weld a look alike on the pipe.As far as the egr,my 93 has the air tubes going in with egr,if I were to get the egr pipe for the 96 that goes in to the side of the header will it work or get check engine lights?The second thought is to heat the pipe and bend to to put a fitting so it can rech the header.Thanks guys.

 

If you live in Cali, you better go with a full cat, not just a look alike, or you won't be able to pass the smog testing, because not only do they check for all the required equipment, they also full up test it, and since a '93 isn't OBDII they have to do the exhaust pipe sniffer dealy, so I'd suggest going with some magnaflow or random tech high flow cats. I'm not familliar with the EGR/A.I.R. tubes on the '93, so I really can't help you out there, maybe post a pic of your engine compartment to give us a little visual.
