richmond are good gears but loud.

Have ever installed a set in a camaro rear? Ive done 1 rearend in my old s10 and i didnt have to shim it...i ended up useing the factory shims in the factory places...Is that normal or did i get lucky?

richmond gears whine. i have done one center section install as well, took all day to get it set right. not so lucky as you. had a shop do the camaro gear change for me.

Here is a pic of my carriers and gear. Which series you think it is? Not sure what the numbers are. 200/bl008?

Somebody else has been inside there before already, you can tell by the chewed up ring gear bolts. And the manufacturers number stampings have been ground off for whatever reason, and those numbers written on. Was someone private labeling somebody else's brand of gears perhaps?

Its a 3.73...but i have no clue what series of carrier it is. I knew someone had been into before I bought it.....Im hoping someone can tell me if its a 2 or 3 series carrier...

like was said in the links i provided they look the same just 1/4 in difference so cant tell for sure from the pict and i cant find the dimensions anywhere.

I have been looking around online for direction to do my gear swap. i've did one, but its was a open carrier, and I put a mini spool. Ive never messed with a posi one. So does anyone know of a site or a book that gives you details how to replace the gear and pionion? Thanks
