Can someone give me a rough idea as to what the rear end in my 95 Z28 is worth, My wife totaled the car and my neighbor wants it, I want to give him a deal but i am trying to recoupe my loss from the accident so I cant give it to him, It has disc brakes and I dont know the gear ratio, It was a V8 automatic convertible Z28, Thanks for the help

I sold a posi unit with traction control on fleabay last year and got $225. I had it all cleaned up and painted nice and pretty too.
Determining your price also depends on how much you like your neighbor!

Check ebay -- you can find rear-ends there regularly... But post a picture -- what some people consider a car totaled is another's project car or body shop investment...

 

If he is such a good neighbor then give him a good price. He may return the favor some day.
