95 z28
you guys have probably seen a couple of questions from me over the past week. The reason for them is because I've saved up $1,200 to put in my 95z28. Basically what I'd like to do is tell you guys what I already have in the car and you guys tell mewhat you would do or buy for the car if it were your $1,200.
I currently have a k&n cold air intake, flowmaster 88 series muffler, throttle body airfoil by jet, hypertech power programmer 3, and have fresh ACDelco plugs and wires. (Stock rear gears)
Give me some suggestions my ears are open.

depends on what you want out of it, headers will flow the same(shorty, long, mid length), but they all have different gains. You could do headers and a ypipe, depending on what brand it will range from 500-900.Depending if you plan on keeping the cats or not you can upgrade to a better flowing cat from magnaflow. Were you just after power or what ?More info is needed, is this your daily driver ? do you plan to stay emmissions legal ?

RE: 95 z28
headers would definitely be the next step.you're going to have to get a shorty header so you don't move the stock position of the cat. lots of options out there for that. you should probably get a new y pipe with them and have a cat welded into that

if you change your gears you will lose some gas mileage.Headers will actually give you better mpg and the flow better than the stock manifolds and you will get more power. You cant expect to do one mod and gain 100hp, most mods dont add that much, but after doing a lot of work you will have more power.Intake and exhaust is always the first step when modifying a car.If you also want more power id go with a lt4 hot cam, and it will pass emmissions with a tune.
