Hi guys! I'm new here and I need some advice. I have a 95 Z/28 convt and plan to keep it forever but I'd like to update the "all red" taillights with the '97-2002 red and amber ones cuz I think they're safer; is this a simple 'bolt-in" or do we need to graft new wires, etc?

 

I think it's just taking out the old ones and plugging in the new ones. I dunno about safer people are gonna be able to see flashing red lights just as well as flashing yellow lights. Red lights Make people stop whereas yellow just makes them cautious> have you though about altezza tailights?

I think most of them have LED's which are alot brighter than normal bulbs and last longer.
