94 z28 vs GTO ls1
Hello I just posted a thread in the ls1 topic. Because i thought i was getting a ls1 camaro but i got this camaro. 94 camaro z28. Mods done: summit racing wires and ngk g-power spark plugs, The car has an slp cold air intake and an slp exhaust with a glasspack muffler and shorty headers.
I was just wondering what you guys think What will win in a race my z28 with all those mods done or a STOCK GTO ls1. Sorry about the other post that i posted.

Get some talcum powder, you should get spanked unless the guy in the GTO falls asleep.
When new, your engine was rated at 275 h.p. You've gotta be in the 300 neighborhood now.
In stock form, the GTO is putting out what 350-ish?. Plus it has a more potent ignition system than the LT1 does.
How many miles are on your car versus the GTO makes a difference too. Engines get tired and wheezy with higher mileage, and h.p. ratings don't remain straight across the board the entire life of the engine, it drops.
