hey im new here so sorry if i do something wrong...but i have a 1994 z28 camaro with a rebuilt lt1 basic mods... exaughst intake ...it has 411 gears in it as well...but lately its been idiling high also at about 3000rpms it will missfire i was wondering if anyone had any idea whats wrong?

 

is the check engine light on ?

 

no its not... i was thinking i have a vacuume hose leak or problem with my fuel injection system but i just dnt know

 

yeah 3k is way too high for an idle, there could be a vacuum leak, how long has it been like this ?

 

no sorry i meant sometimes it idles at 2000rpms, wen i rev it to 3000 is wen it starts to missfire ...its been doing this for a few weeks now :[

 

start with changing the plugs and wires
