Default 94 z28 over heating only after it warms up

I just swapped the motor out in my 94 z28 I got a 93 z28 donor car I switched intakes and all sensors off the old one, reused water pump off the old motor cause it was in better shape, havent replaced themostat as it was replaced in the old motor and just left it in when I swapped manifolds, the problem im having is it over heats when driving around town,on the highway it is fine,i need to know how to properly bleed my coolant system, thats what I think the problem is,and by the way ac has been removed and the fans have been put on a toggle, any help would be appreciated

moved your thread to the lt1 tech section. the forum issues is for problems with the site. try bleading this way and see if it helps. also make sure your air dam is in place.

+1 on the air dam being in place and in decent shape. It really helps to pull air across the radiator at slower speeds.
