Unhappy 94 LT1 4l60e Tranny Problems

I just swapped my tranny with a rebuilt one.
It ran fine for the first 600 miles.
Now when it warms up i lose 1st sometimes.
4th gear is tricky on the e-way.
When i put it into over drive it stays in third til i let off the pedal.
After that it will run fine and sometimes downshift and then shift back up
on its on with me barely pushing the pedal.
It still has full power in all gears.
Starting from 1st at a dead stop really giving it gas it spins the tires like normal for a split sec. and then shifts way to early.
I was told to put a shift kit in with noids.
I really do not think that it is.
Leaning more on the side of programming.

My last tranny was in limp mode.
Only had 2nd & 3rd

The computer was never erased from the last tranny.
Could that be my problem?

Also if i may add..
It has not been driven hard at all since i have had it back rolling.

Sounds like the governor pressure switch and the modulator or the bands.

did u get a warranty on it if so take that sucker back. bands could be it. thats whats wrong on my z28. its a pretty penny to get it rebuilt unless u gota friend who knows how. pullouts go for about 500 the cheapest ive found but most junkyards give u a 30 day warrenty or none at all and if the one u get one that don't run they're usually ****s about given u another one and refundin the money u spent on fluid and filter and gasket. heres a site if u decide to just buy one that u know will last. it was refered to me by someone on this forum but i dont remeber who. https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/home.php?cat=18. im waiting on one i ordered and a budy of mine has one in his ss. and he loves it. that site also has torque converters. call around and get some prices. make an informed decision. hope u get er fixed.

Thanks Contryboy.
Yeah the guy i got it from has a graveyard of Z28`s and TA`s...
That is all he deals with.
I am looking to buy a new.
I have been through a lot with the 5 i have already tried.
Tired of rolling the dice. lol
I know a lot about the engine and electrical work on all cars.
Never rebuilt a tranny before.
Maybe i need to get into that as well. :-)
