Default 93 to 94-45 ecu

i have been told that i can use a 94-95 wiring harness and ecu on my 93 and have the trany codes deleted. im thinking the sensors are all the same and in pretty much the same places except the 93 doesnt have the maf. is that correct? is this a simple switch?

Yes, 93 is speed density. Mass air is easier to tune.

found out a 94 harness is not easy to find. have found the tach is different so would have to bypass the tach resistor or change gage cluster which means changing the harness under the dash. still researching. been talking to a tuner in olympia thats good and has developed a way to use exsisting wiring and some of the ecu with a fast xfi. supposed to work really nice and doesnt cost to much. little over a 2k and i would have a double tune, one that works crusin and one that works over 3/4 throttle. if i can gain over 5mpg ill save in the long run.
