3:73 or 4:10 which is better with the T-56
I'm looking for more low end but i still want to be able to ride on the freeway at 80 mph without the rpm's screeming. Will 4:10s be ok??What is the Rpm change like. I have the factory 3:42's in there now.

You can calculate the RPMS you'll get with the near gears.
A 3.37 with give you 3.73/3.42 times the revs at any gear, basically 10% higher. Where its now at 2400, would be at 2640.
A 4.10 would give you 4.10/3.42 times the revs at any speed, basically 20% higher: where it is now 2400, it would be 2880.
Also realize you speeds in gear would be lower: it you now top out a XX mph in 2nd, you'd not top out in 2nd at X/1.10 with 3.73s and X/1.2 with 4.10s. Something to consider, you'll be shifting more.
I think of a 95 this definately means you will do two shifts 0 - 60 mph with 4.10s. It also means, if memory serves me right, that top speed in 4th gear is now only around 100 mph. This raises a point to check with the math: make sure you don't lower the top speed at your rev limit in 4th gear too low: that would mean shifting to 5th in the 1/4 and you'd end up lose times.
With 4.10s, you might find you like starting out in second around town, to reduce the number of times you shift . The car has the torque and if you have a stout aftermarket clutch you won't hurt anything.

It all depends on how much you can tolerate. In my misspent youth I drove around for about 4 years with a 409 Chevy using 4.56 gears (these were available from the factory as an option). This wasn't too bad because the four speed close ratio box had a 2.20 first. It didn't go very fast, about 110 @ 7200 RPM, but it covered the 1/4 mile in a hurry.
But seriously, with the big first gear and wide ratios in the 6 speed box, going bigger than 3.73 will tend to seriously overpower the tires in first gear unless you used slicks. Unless you plan to be a dedicated 1/4 mile racer, your present gears will give the best compromise between acceleration and cruising ability.
