Default 1997 camaro 383 issues

I have a 1997 camaro with a 383 stroker. The car is cammed. Not sure what all else is done. The car sounds like it's misfiring when I first take off or if I am driving under 2,000 rpms. Also if I try to keep a consistent rpm it starts to jerk. But if I punch it the car runs normal. I just replaced O2 sensors, they seemed to help a little but didn't fix the problem. Btw the car has no cats just mufflers.

The usual culprit is the Optispark dizzy on those LT1's.

GM Performance or something else? I replaced the Opti on my '93 twice in 6 months. I didn't go with the GMP the second time because I was selling the car,had I kept I would have.

It was with all GM parts. I only have like 1,000 miles on car since replaced. When the optispark went out on me the car was really hard to start and ran crappy. I know that's not the only symptom of optispark tho

Check fuel pressure and make sure there are absolutely no exhaust leaks before or directly (6inches or so) after the O2 sensors. Was the car tuned for the cam and extra displacement?

I actually had an exhaust leak and got that fixed. Thinking it was the problem, but it wasn't. I have not checked fuel pressure. My air to fuel ratio gauge looks good tho. All the work was done to the car before I bought it. I've had it for about three years.

My LT1 ran like that for a while and it turned out to be a burnt plug wire on number 8,it would come and go as it shorted out or not. Seemed to not do it when I ran it hard and when I wasn't it would act all nutty .I guess there was enough vibration when I hammered on it to keep the shorting out to a minimum. Eventually it got worse and we found the issue.

also test your engine temp sensor, its at the front of the waterpump. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#ect had one go on a truck and it would only run half way right at wot. tested it and it showed -40 degrees. it was getting way too much fuel.
