Thumbs down 1995 z28 camaro

Hello Camaro gurus, I have a 1995 z28 camaro and I have done some minor mods. I have moroso cold air intake and relocated filter under driverside fender, mass airflow sensors, 160 degree thermostat, hypertech power performance tuning, flowmaster super 44s with 3 in stainless pipes off the manifold and the TCI hotrod 4l60e shift upgrade/tranny rebuild kit. The car runs a 12.93 with the drag radials about 108 mph. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on boosting performance without draining the pocket. I have heard that there are simple things that you can do to the factory setup do produce decent gains. If anyone knows about anything else that doesnt cost an arm and a leg please let me know. Thanks

Hey again, I am sorry as I went to read this I realized that I f***** up my thing, I was reeeealy buzzed when I wrote this and it was a 12.93 sec at 103 mph not 108, I misread my slip. And the drag tires took almost 2/10th of a sec off my time. That was in New Hampshire with drag radials and it is very possible, because it was done. so please let me know if you think you know anything about making soe more hp. My price range is 1-2k for now, after I deply to afghanistan it will be more like 5-10 thanks guys. Sorry for the mispring

u are going to want to finish your boltons. but 12.93 sounds awefully fast for a car with nothing really but a CAI and exhaust. is it possible a previous owner did some modifying?

Have you considered headers, great mod especially with the exhaust you already mod, has potential for gains and is a bolt on hp.

well, im wondering if someone didnt do an lt4 swap or something. GM shops would install their performance parts wouldnt they? and not everybody puts headers on first, hell, the shorties even can be overlooked. id like to see some engine pics. i get the sinking suspicion something else is up here.

to the OP, were not calling BS on you. its more like... if you have unknown mods (which your ET really suggests) and we try to give you mod help based on the mods u listed, you may actually LOSE power by replacing some parts you didnt need to with lower quality ones.

With the tranny he has (and a set of 3.73 or 4.10 manual maybe?) along with the other mods I can see him doing high 12's and that's if he a good driver. It's possible.

Ok it's not possible! I was just trying to give him the benifit of a doubt but it would be nice to be proven wrong. OP got a vid of your run?
