my buddys got a 1995 chevy camaro with the 3.4l and when he turns his ignition he gets power only to certan things and his car wont start it wont even click and he just put a brand new battery in it were gettin ready to moave and dont really have the money to tow it to the new house so we would like to get it fixed soon

 

are u getting a security light? did u clean the wire end connections?

 

no the only thing its gettin is the beep to tell you the keys in the ignition

 

try cleaning the vats connections (little metal bumps) on the key and in the ignition with some electical cleaner. check the fuses in the power box under the hood on the driver side wheelwell and in the fuse box on the driver side of the dash by the door hinge.

 

so we figured out its the anti theft system crap and now we need to know what wire to put the resistor in. we had the same problem with my brothers caddilac but i didnt fix that one so any help would be appriceated

 

i know theres a link to instuctions on here but can t find it yet. gotta go to work.
