Default 1/4 mile...0-100...??

so stock 1/4 time is 14.1 @ ..98/99ish right? well yesterday I went 0-100 in just over 13 and all I've done is CAI and cutout. I have an automatic. so why is this time faster than the stock 1/4 mile time??

???? I am a little lost on this one.

A stock LS1 4L60 F-body should run 13.1-13.5 @ 102-106 depending on location and driver. CAI and cutouts will help out a bit and probaly cut .1-.2 off your 1/4.

Sorry wrong section. Is this a LT1 car ????

How are you measuring the time and speed to 100?

Are you using a stopwatch and the speedo? Or do you have something setup external to the car?

The stock speedo can be off by 5-10% in speed and you would never notice it in daily driving. Also, different sized tires (different from stock) will also have an effect on speedo correctness.

alright that makes sense. I took a video then timed it through the vid so it'd be more accurate.

stopwatch and speedo..haha...that cracks me up.pretty sure i did that when i was 16. anyways the only way to compare ur car to that stock 14.1 is of coarse to take it to the track. not sure about but never used one of them external setups/in-car meters..

also that stock 14.1 is rated on a pretty much brand new engine, im sure your car is older and has probably racked up a good amount of miles so it would probably run alittle bit slower

well i went 13.6 @102 all i did was swap out the gears for 4.10 and rebuilt the trany and did a shift improver kit with stock exaust and internal(no cam or anything with 115000 miles at the track so take it to the track and find out what it really does
