Hi there.
Here`s a question to you Camaro Guru`s... When I bought my Z-28 in may 99 (it`s a 98 4 speed Auto) I`ve been told the car has sport package (not the appearance package). Another interesting detail: My car originally came with `97 taillights (No amber color turn signals). I know the first owner bought the car in August or September 1997 and traded it in for a 99 C5.(same dealership where I bought the car)
So, what is the significance of these taillights and what is sport package??? Ran the VIN...Nothing... Can anyone help? Thanks, all help is appreciated...

from what i always understood the sport package and the appearence package were always the same thing but i could be wrong. and sorry but i cant help ya on the tail-lights
