I'm interested in buying a 98+ camaro what are the weak areas and problems that you have encountered?

 

That 6 speeds are slower and weaker than an auto with a stall.

 

How about the ppl that use there camaro as a daily driver.

 

I used to use mine as my DD, and I had no real complaints about it, but gas was ALOT cheaper back then[]

 

yeah i totally love everything about my 01 SS but gas is a *****. other than that, love it.

 

Only thing i do not like is mine is missing a turbo

 

What kind of mpg are you getting.

 

I get high teens on the highway, but about 10-12 around town. When it was a stock 6 speed I got nearly 30 mpg on the highway during a trip to WI I took a few years ago.

 

In my car with the 6-speed I've gotten 32 mpg but I do travel a was to work and It's mainly all hightway but when I decide to cruise on the streets I get about 17- 24 mpg. On the other topic I love everything about my car.

 

mine gets near 24 but i drive it like a grandma
