Default volant intake vs slp flo pac

I have this posted in the performance tech area as well but im posting it in here too. On my 01 SS i have the slp lid. i have been thinking about switching to the volant intake and i was wondering if it really performs as good as it looks? I also wanna know if the slp flo pac or the volant intake will help any at all with the ram air hood or if i should just keep the lid and add the slp bellow?

I wrote this a while back , its got really bad spelling but basically keep the lid, the volant doesnt really suck air from anywhere else and you may even get heat soak.

Do the cut out, if you have any problems gimme a shout or pm me, ill get some pick up soon if you can wait a few days

I would agree stick with the lid for the price. The volant is a good intake but i dont think it has any pros over a good lid.

I have the SLP Flo-Pac, and I noticed a difference with the CAI added to the RAM Air -- I did not block off the RAM Air. It was worth it for me.
